HTI (Helio-Thermal Index)
The Helio-Thermal Index (HTI) is a quantitative proprietary indicator expressed in heat units, in the same fashion as the Amerine & Winkler Heat Summation Index and our Proprietary Heat Index (PHI), that combines monthly mean temperatures and monthly global solar horizontal radiation data measured in Wh/day/m2.
Our goal with the HTI is to estimate, with the highest possible accuracy, the maturation profile and the degree of physiological maturity that can be achieved by grapes grown in the wine regions under analysis.
